“Welcome to K.I.S. COUNSELING & THERAPY SERVICES in Oswego, Illinois! I am Kandee, and I have been in the field of behavioral health for more than 20 years. I founded my company based on the idea and vision of empowering individuals and couples to tap into their esteem and passion, so they can enjoy the wonderful journey of life. I encourage deep introspection, valuing your experiences and you, sitting with you in your pain so that you can develop wholehearted living; that ultimate place of loving yourself. 


My goal is to impart to those I serve the notion that they are lovable, wonderful, and worthy; that they deserve the opportunity to explore their pleasure, passion, and play in whatever way that suits them best; sexually or otherwise. I want to partner with you to discover how amazing and wonderful you are independent of any other; just on your own, in your own skin; lovable and desirable; YOU MATTER!  

I served in the US Army as a counselor serving inmates, combat soldiers and their families in a variety of settings. I’ve also worked with chronically mentally ill adults who struggled with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe depression. I have facilitated and given classes/groups in domestic violence, stress management, self esteem, female sexuality, sex and recovery, and couples therapy.


Furthermore, I have several years of experience meeting with those who are going through psychiatric crisis/distress. For the last few years, I've also worked in private practice focusing on relationship counseling and sex therapy helping individuals and couples create intimate connection and a passionate sex life.  💋
